The Government of the Republic of Indonesia has decided to confer the award of ‘Bintang Jasa Utama’ (First Class Merit Star) to Dr. Heinrich Seemann, the former Ambassador Extraordinary Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Germany in Indonesia.

The Government is of the view that, during his tenure, Ambassador Seemann has played a significant role and contributed to the promotion of relations between the two nations especially in economic cooperation.
